MSKReform (MSKR) is open to all individuals interested in the betterment of MSK practice with no barriers to membership based on what led to this interest! MSKR members are patients, clinicians of all stripes, educators, students and policy makers.

MSKReform is a non-profit members organisation operating as a think-tank. It has been incorporated as a company limited by guarantee with two founding directors:

Jack is the Director of MSKReform having founded the preceding movement #TheBigRs in 2017. Jack leads on MSKR’s strategy and messaging alongside his clinical and managerial role at his private practice in Timperley, South Manchester. Jack’s monthly interview podcast ‘Physio Matters’ reaches 30,000-50,000 people each month and he is known worldwide as a progressive force in the MSK industry. Jack is especially passionate about raising care quality standards and sees a graduate preceptorship programme and patient partnership projects as the key to these reforms.

MSKR DEPUTY DIRECTOR

Felicity holds the position of Deputy Director of MSKReform and leads on strategic partnerships and logistics for the think-tank. Alongside her MSKR role, Felicity is an MSK Physiotherapist working in her own private practice and in Occupational Health. She has been a member of The Physio Matters Podcast team since her return to her hometown of Newcastle upon Tyne following three years practicing in New Zealand. Felicity is especially passionate about improving professional revalidation processes and hopes to influence policy in order to help make Physiotherapy Chartership meaningful.

Your support

In 2020, the MSKR membership will vote to prioritise the 41 policies detailed in the Manifesto and appoint action groups who will work towards implementing 10-15 key policies across the five core areas.
